Megaconstrucciones: Europa tendrá el edificio impreso en 3D más grande del mundo

Megaconstructions: Europe will have the largest 3D printed building in the world

The 3d print is growing and reaching spectacular limits, since it is not only used to manufacture objects quickly, but they are already being used to improve such important aspects as hospitals, technological devices , create very efficient homes in record time and even manufacture food for consumption, among other things to come.

What we have seen in Germany is just further proof of the giant steps that this is taking and that is that they have built a data center in less than six days. Is about The Wave House and it is the largest 3D printed building in Europe .

For its construction, a BOD2 printer from COBOD International , one of the partners, was used and the walls were erected in just 140 hours, with an average printing of four square meters per hour . The building has about 600 square meters , 54 long 11 wide and 9 high . From firms involved in the project, they affirm that this has been possible thanks to 3D printed concrete that is 100% recyclable as a mineral construction material.
